Sage 100 and Sage100Cloud version 2017 “defect” support by Sage will end Sept 30th 2020.  Companies using version 2017 AP tax and reporting updates will need to upgrade their Sage 100 and Sage100Cloud systems to a newer version.  The most current version is version 2020 But version 2020.01 is expected in June 2020.

Sage On-Line Knowledgebase with technical notes and support tips will continue to be available for Sage 100 version 2017 and newer versions. Sage will offer telephone procedural assistance, but not defect support.  Friendly Systems will continue to support version 2017, as we do with earlier Sage 100 versions.

To determine what version of Sage 100 you are running, access the Sage Launcher, then:

  1. Access the Help menu
    • Note: This would be the on the toolbar that includes FileModulesMy TasksView, and Help
  2. Select About or About Sage 100
  3. Locate the version information
    • Example: Sage 100c Standard 2016 (Version 5.30.3.0)
