is an advanced open source software package with ERP and integrated CRM which comes in three editions. All editions run on Windows, Mac and Linux, and include multi-currency and multi-lingual capability.What does it mean for your business not to be tied to one operating system?
- If you don't already have a server, you can get one runniing Linux and save the Microsoft licensing fees.

PostBooks Edition
Don't let the ..Books in the name fool you. The free (as in freedom and as in beer) PostBooks edition includes everything a small to medium sized distributor or manufacturer needs to run their business at peak efficiency. Besides the basics of accounting (GL/AP/AR), PostBooks handles Quotes, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Inventory (including multi-bin capabilities, kitting, and an assemle-to-order configurator), Bill of Materials, Work Order, Project Management, and CRM (contacts, opportunities, customer service, todo lists).
Standard Edition
If you need advanced distribution features, the Standard Edition is for you. Along with all the PostBooks features, you get multiple warehouses, emailing documents, EDI, lot/serial control, RMA, revision control, and MRP (material requirements planning).
Manufacturing Edition
The Manufacturing Edition provides everything you need to run a sophisticated modern shop. it features multi-plant MRP, production scheduling, bills of operations, breeder bills for process manufacturing, capacity planning, and more.
The Standard and Manufacturing Editions of xTuple are available either as annual subscriptions or as a standard software license purchase with optional annual maintenance to get upgrades.
A Point of Sale module is available to handle retail or counter sales needs.
