Introducing Sage Fundraising Online

Friendly Systems is proud to announce that we are now authorized resellers for Sage Fundraising Online.  This is a modern, web based offering from Sage that allows non-profits to receive contributions on their web site.  It can also be used for event registration and signing up volunteers.  You can get started for very little money, it integrates with your existing web site, and it even allows your donation form to be embedded in employee or donor FaceBook, LinkedIn, or blog pages.

Help a Great Charity

One of the reasons we signed up for Sage Fundraising Online is that we already have a number of non-profits as allies for their accounting software.  One of those companies is United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia, which operates group homes and day programs designed to help people with disabilities live in the community rather than in an institution.

United Cerebral Palsy has recently signed on with an interesting program from OP4G, which stands for Opinions For Good.  OP4G will pay you to do marketing surveys, and a portion of your pay goes directly to the charity you select.  The invitation code for United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia is UCPGA1234.  Download the details...

If your non-profit has news you would like us to help broadcast, please let us know.

Payroll W-2 Filing and Health Insurance Updates

W-2 forms can no longer be filed on magnetic media, and instead must be filed electronically.  For Sage ERP MAS 90 or 200 versions 4.0 and higher, there is an IRD with the updates available.  Also, the requirement to include the value of employer paid health insurance on the W-2 (which did not affect taxes, just providing information to employees on the cost of insurance) has been declared optional for this year.  Further W-2 details...
